Like some other reviews customer service is subpar. I stood at the counter for about 2-3 minutes before asking them if... I could order and then another few minutes before they were ready to take my order.The food didn’t take too long to arrive though but when my red velvet cake came it was the most disgusting cake I’ve ever tasted! I think it had been sitting there for more than 3 weeks. It was sooo dry that it started to turn white as you can see in the pictures. I contemplated about taking it back but my friend had a lemon tart which didn’t taste that great either, so I thought even if I exchanged it for something else all their other cakes would taste just as bad.My friend did say when she went before the hot chocolate spoons were good but I ordered coffee so can’t comment on that.Definitely don’t order any cakes there!!read more

visited the place on Sunday the 2nd of July 2023 and had a couple of issues. I ordered a couple of drinks and brownie,... the waiters got my order wrong and brought me a different drink, i explained that was not my drink, she went back and i could hear checking with her supervisor my order and she only asked if my drink was more or less expansive than what was brought too me. when she heard it was less expansive they just made me my drink and brought it to me. but the problem is they charged me for the more expansive drink and i was annoyed that did not even offer to refund me the difference. So basically i was charged more for the drink. the other thing was the staff NEVER cleaned the tables outside, customers would leave the tables and since the staff never cleaned the tables birds would be gathering over the leftover and that happened for the entire hour we were there. overall, bad experience and very poor service.read more

Came here for a chocolate fix and was satisfied. Had the 70% chocolate spoon which was decent and it came with some... chocolates on the side which we really appreciate! Negatives: a lot of sweet stuff on the menu - wish they had more pure-chocolate /bittersweet options. Didn’t find the place too clean as well and the toilet was wet and gross.read more

Nice lunch place and chocolate company in the heart of Rotterdam. Good lunch menu with plenty of special things on it.... And an amazing selection of chocolate for your very special chocolate milk.Sadly the service we all found poorly. Our drinks came straight away (lovely coffee!) and our lunch orders (ordered separately) came very much apart, which meant we ate in stages, all with our drinks well finished. One of us had to wait for more than 20 mins for (very nice gluten free) lunch, without any communication from the staff.read more

We were asking ourselfs why the food took a little bit longer, but wow it was worth the wait! Delicous sandwiches, also... big portions for a fair price so nobody was left hungry. Perfect spot for a long breakfast.PS: They only had one-layer toilet paper. why man, why....read more

Sadly, they don’t seem to like foreigners. I spoke in Dutch but I could tell from the beginning that the woman... attending didn’t like me. I only ordered a coffee and water for my boyfriend and son, and needed a quick piece of banana bread to go because I had to take a bus. She took 10 min and still couldn’t cut the banana bread and give it to me. She behaved indifferent and arrogant. The other girl inside had to come to do it, though she cut the thinnest slice for €4.95. Of course, I missed the bus.The place in Delft is delightful, wonderful owner. This one, I would say: avoid.read more

Great brunch place, quick service, awesome for chocolate lovers. You can order from your table using the qr code. They... bring it to you. Or you can order inside. The coffee is good too. I tried the dark chocolate spoon which is a big block of chocolate of your liking on a spoon dunked in a cup of your choice of milk. Nice twist to delicious hot chocolate. We also had the avocado hummus sandwich and caprese sandwich. Both were made from fresh ingredients and really yummy! Enjoyed sitting outside and people watching on a pleasant summer day!read more

Had the High Choc with my partner. Was super tasty and the staff were quite attentive! Also a decent spot if you want... one of many many flavors of Hot chocolate stir in spoon things. If you fancy something a little different on your way into town it's well worth a look in!read more
