I can't start saying how much I enjoy their hot chocolate selection. They always bring new flavors, depending on the... season. One of my favourite places to go drink a coffee/hot cocoa. Good for students that want to relax or even study.How it works: you can order a drink and ask for a chocolate block (there are quite a few of them so choose whichever looks most appealing to you). They prepare your drink and put the chocolate block inside it to melt and give it an AMAZING sweet taste. This is an entire worth of a dessert, so be wary if you want anything on the side.You don't have to get the chocolate block if you don't want to by the way, but you will feel like you HAVE to. Even so, their coffee is really good and their sweets are even better.If you enjoyed your drink a lot, they also have the same chocolate blocks in gift boxes to share with your friends and family. This my favourite cafeteria chain in NL, the coffee is good and what is even more appreciated (because we are in NL) is... that you get the most delicious chocolate truffle with your coffee(even with take away).Apple cake is good, carrot cake was OK, wouldn’t have it again.read more

Had the High Choc (English high Tea don't mostly with chocolate.) Wonderful. More food that we were able to eat. A... combination of three types of sandwiches which were all exceptional, and then various chocolates, brownies, cakes, and fondue. The staff/owner was very pleasant and made the entire experience great. No complaints at all.read more

Was in Delft (from the US) 3 days in Spring ‘19 & was at the shop indulging in the most exceptional hot chocolate ever... to pass my lips each day. They even had offerings for me with a dairy allergy, most gracious hosts of deliciousness. Fantastic staff, relaxing seating inside and out. Dairy free options were great; the barista was able to make our... chocolate strawberry smoothies with oat milk, and they were outstanding. I don’t think the waiter in the shop is willing to help. Or he is not enjoying his job. Or if you speak English, even... though he is capable of understanding and talking, he is not responsive to you. He brought the order wrong, and when I try to explain it he was very frustrated and the attitude was very bad. I gave 2 stars just for the sake of chocolate.read more

I love this place. We've been here 4 times since we discovered it. Definitely they live to their chocolatey name, I... mean you can have coffee here, but hot chocolate is what you really should try. I usually try a new flavor in every visit, but the one I've liked the most was hazelnut caramel. Of course I'll keep coming back 🙂read more

Went there twice and some of the waitresses I met were not the... friendliest bunch but then again, that doesn’t take away the delicious hot chocolate they have in store for you. Coffee, well, the cappuccino fell a bit short of expectations.Overall an enjoyable experience.read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE the manager was incredibly rude. There are so many lovely places to go in Delft - I would recommend... going anywhere but here! I was berated within minutes of sitting down, given a time limit in which I was allowed to stay for, and then (despite being polite, respectful and quiet) was told by the manager to "not bother coming back" while on my way out.read more

The manager was incredibly rude. Three of us came to this cafe and asked a staff member if it was okay if we ordered a... tea/coffee and studied for a while in the cafe, and they said that was fine. One of us ordered something right away, and the others took 5-10 minutes to decide. Within this time, the manager came over and verbally attacked us, calling us rude and “American” (we are Canadian), for coming to the cafe and not ordering something right away. He said he was “really annoyed” with us and said we could stay for a maximum of 1 hour. We explained that we were just taking a few minutes to decide our order and he responded rudely. We ended up ordering more things, and after an hour, when we started to pack up to leave, he came back to our table and told us “don’t bother ever coming back here again”. It was incredibly rude and hurtful considering we were polite, quiet, and did nothing wrong. We were considerate of how busy the cafe was, and were willing to give up our table if it ever got busy (which it did not, it stayed empty). What a terrible experience— do not support the hostile manager of this business! Anywhere else in Delft is much more kind and accommodating.read more

The staff were absolutely lovely/genuine people (to my tourist-y self). They had great recommendations for sights to... see in the city and their hot chocolate was some of the best I've had. If you ever stop in Delft, this shop is a must! And make sure to grab some hot chocolate to go, as you will be thinking about it for years to come.read more

This is the top choice for chocolate affectionados in Delft. We had brownies, which were quite large portions (should... have shared a single slice), very moist, and they had free chilled water for the kids. The hot chocolate varieties are impressive too, and they use good quality milk.read more

Amazing pet friendly café. It was raining a lot outside and we were traveling with two dogs, we asked if we can get... inside this place with our dogs, they not only just allowed us to be there with our dogs but also they brought them some water and a cookie for each! Very nice people!! Chocolate concept it's very curious and has a wide variety! Very delicious!! I highly recommend this place!read more

We stumbled upon this Cafe on one corner of Delft Square after one tired afternoon touring The Hague and Delft, and it... was the highlight of our visit there. Hot Chocolate, Coffee, and Apple Pie, heaven!. At first I only order cappuccino and an apple pie to be shared with my husband, but I know I can't pass up the gorgeous chocolate spoon, so I'm ordering that one as well, and i don't regret it one bit.
